Vehicle Overview

BMW opted to take an evolutionary rather than revolutionary stance when styling the newest 7-Series. Up front the biggest BMW limousine wears the brand’s signature kidney front grille, as well as a modern interpretation of the classic BMW headlight treatment. The 7 Series remains a three-box design, but the sedan’s roofline is more swept back than before, giving it a more coupe-like appearance. The rear of the car features LED taillights, a more sculpted bumper and dual exhaust outlets.

The spacious interior offered by the BMW 7 Series long version gives an extra 14 centimetres in increased leg room while the roofline redesign provides additional headroom. The cockpit design is straightforward–not chaotic and cluttered–with streamlined dash shapes, densely grained wood trim and ceramic-finished knobs. In the center of the dash is a new version of iDrive, which this year adds a touch-pad controller. With the new reconfigurable information display introduced last year it’s much better coordinated and intuitive–as well as better-looking. The 7 Series boasts individually adjustable seats, extended rear air conditioning and back seat entertainment further enhance it’s modern ambience.
